Provide advice and legal work across the Genentech biotech/pharmaceutical organization, focusing on real estate, land use, transportation (of employees and products). Real estate work includes drafting and negotiating contracts (e.g. leasing, acquisition, divesture and property management). Conduct and manage due diligence for multi-million dollar commercial properties. Land Use work includes research, drafting easement agreements with municipalities and utilities.Transportation work includes drafting and negotiating employee transportation agreements on land and sea, tri-party ride share and motor transportation agreements. Provides legal work and advice to Genentech's facilities outside South San Francisco, (e.g. Vacaville, Oceanside, Hillsboro, OR and Kentucky). Highly proficient in litigation matters from filing of Complaint through final settlement activities. Example cases include trade secret, product liability, personal injury, property damage and breach of contract.
