Reporting to the Senior Director, Rehabilitation Services, the Manager of Rehabilitation Services provides leadership and management in the planning, development, and delivery of the Rehabilitation Services program in order to encourage and facilitate the return of disabled employees to productive employment. The position develops and implements programs and services to meet departmental strategic and operating objectives and the current and emerging needs of HBT’s clients. The position fosters strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and provides professional expertise in resolving a variety of complex disability management and rehabilitation issues.

Reporting to Senior Director of Rehabilitation Services, Team Leader position plans and cordinates the delivery of programs to encourage and facilitate the return of ill, injured or disabled employees to productive employment. The position supervises staff in acocomplishing program activities, provides professional leadership and direction in the assessment of cases and development and implementation of case plans, and approves associated expenditures within signing authority. The position fosters strong working relationships with member organizations, unions, service providers, agencies, facilities, health authoirities, member employees and claims paying agents in order to facilitate the accomplishment of objectives. The position ensures services provided are effective and cost effective and continue to meet the ongoing needs of a diverse range of stakeholders. The position supports the Director in the management of the section by managing specific projects and areas of responsbility.
