After many years in technology sales, I am fortunate to be able to translate the persuasion, motivation and organizational skills learned in the corporate world, into the nonprofit arena. Determined to set a good example when my first child was born in 2002, I began volunteering in my local community. Since I was simultaneously managing a flourishing career at a Fortune 500 company, it didn’t take long for me to recognize that the skills I mastered in corporate sales and marketing were in great demand in the nonprofit sector. In my current role, I am fortunate to advance the Boys and Girls Club's Movement, leveling the playing field for children from the most vulnerable populations, presenting them with engaging growth and development opportunities. Investing in these life-enhancing programs and character development experiences today, lights the way for a brighter tomorrow - for the individual child and for the community at large.
