During this time, I leveraged the opportunity to delve deep into the intricacies of motion design, polishing existing skills and embracing new tools, techniques, and industry best practices, and acquiring new proficiencies. The traineeship culminated in my transition to the role of Junior Motion Designer. In the most wonderful student-led halls of residence, we regularly organised various events to help student connect. As the creative force behind our events, I played a leading role in designing eye-catching posters, banners, flyers, and invitations. Each visual element was meticulously crafted to resonate with our diverse community, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for all attendees, reflecting the vibrant international community and enhacing the student living experience.

One of my all-time favourite activities is reading and I love sharing the most wonderful stories with those around me. Through my part-time job in the whimsical bookshop Wortwahl I have had the chance to do that every week and be a sort of matchmaker for people and books. Since we specialize in children's literature, I always had an added feeling of accomplishment every time I saw a child smile when I handed them the book I knew would make them fall in love with literature the way I did. Expanding our carefully curated selection beyond books to include home decor and stationery, I had the chance to develop my sense for aesthetic and product presentation. Working closely with my boss to regularly decorate our shop windows following creative concepts we brainstormed together, I developed visual storytelling skills I still draw on today.
