As a Democracy Fellow, I developed the ability to provide policy recommendations to media outlets, conduct data entry and data analysis for campaign finance and high school voter compliance reports, as well as served as a poll monitor during the April election to ensure fair electoral processes are being maintained.

During my time with the Girls Empowerment Network, I designed the policy & advocacy curriculum to advance governmental knowledge & advocacy skills of 6-12th grade students, instituted an inventory system that efficiently categorized all existing resources according to their intended purpose, and was the lead correspondent with other organizations for establishing partnerships and opportunities for collaboration.

During the summer, I monitored over 29 legislative measures taken by 50 U.S. states both preceding & subsequent to the Dobbs verdict and created excel spreadsheets to address 30 inquiries & customized functions to accounts for extremities. In addition, I documented comprehensive notes pertaining to specialized circumstances for each of the 50 states and initiated communication between think tanks and our research team to ensure data is precise and accurate.

As a Texas Civic Ambassador, I received nonpartisan skills training by elected officials, and communication experts, strengthened alliances between 25 ambassadors across the state of Texas who have differing political beliefs. Additionally, I founded informtravis: a nonpartisan social media campaign to inform Travis County registered voters of the impact propositions can have on their community during the May election of 2023.
