I am passionate about building up our community through education, training and collaboration. Through the collaboration of local organization, churches, non-profits and top experts in their field we are able to provide educational training in the areas of Trauma, Human Trafficking, Substance Abuse and Community Engagement.The Initiative originally was formed to meet the need of human trafficking survivors seeking a mentor. We were able to meet this need by enhancing the training programs of local mentoring organizations. Now we have expanded to train all those seeking to: * Gain knowledge to better walk alongside another who has experienced trauma. * Become equipped to mentor the survivors of human trafficking within our community. * Recognize the signs and provide encouragement to those trapped in addiction. * Develop relationship strategies that will set them and their mentee up for success.Rather than create another non-profit organization to spearhead this initiative, we are "circling the wagons" with already established non-profit organizations to enhance current programs and multiply community engagement. These organizations include, but are not limited to: Gateway Woods Family Services, Four:10 Ministries, New Mercies Ministries, the Anti Trafficking Network of Northeast Indiana, Indiana Trafficking Victims Assistance Program, Inspiration Ministries, Hearten House, The Resiliency Foundation, Beloved: Not Forgotten, Allendale Treatment, Fort Wayne Recovery and more. By attending The Initiative's Training, attendees will not only be educated and trained, but will be connected to and supported by a local organization of their choice. Be apart of The Initiative!

Destiny Rescue exists to end child sex trafficking by focusing on the most prolificareas of concern in the world and providing efforts in the following ways:• Rescue - providing escape for underage victims from the sex industry.• Restoration - allowing healing through spiritual, emotional, vocational, educational support,counseling, and training.• Prevention - educating at-risk communities on the dangers of sex-trafficking and providingresource techniques to reduce the vulnerability to the lies presented by those seeking totake advantage of communities struggling in poverty and need.The door of giving (time, talent, and treasure) is opened by hearing the need and naturallyresponding with, “how can I help”? My roll as National Advocate Coordinator is to answer that question by engaging, equipping, and encouraging an army of volunteers to get involved with their giftedness.Beyond advocate relations my responsibilities also include developing and raising funds around the nation by supporting Advocate Teams with their annual fundraisers. I am responsible for developing processes and handbooks for training advocates, development of fundraising platforms in partnership with our National Marketing team, supporting fundraising events primarily through electronic/voice-to-voice communication and collaborate with all DR departments to meet objectives.I am passionate to see the love of Christ extend to the lost and the hurting. I support the church in developing disciples who defend the poor and needy. Communications are a priority and I am driven to not only make a difference in the world, but to empower others to take action as well.
