Leading the operationalization of KION Group’s global supplier sustainability risk mitigation strategy across a multi-billion EUR portfolio, covering 40,000+ suppliers. These efforts span six operating units, including Dematic, Linde, Still, Baoli, OM Voltas, and Fenwick. In this role, I oversee my team’s successful execution of key initiatives, such as:- Ensuring compliance with international supply chain due diligence regulations, such as the German Supply Chain Act, Canadian Modern Slavery Act, and Australian Modern Slavery Act, safeguarding over 80% of our total spend.- Guiding the implementation of supplier data collection programs to meet over 10 Environmental Product Requirements (EPRs), including RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and conflict minerals, ensuring product compliance across KION.- Overseeing primary data collection efforts to enable product sustainability teams to conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), supporting the industry’s first Cradle to Cradle certification for Automation and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).- Supporting the development of KION Group’s Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) strategy, with a focus on creating decarbonization plans for over 40,000 supply chain partners to reduce Scope 3 emissions.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor and enhance sustainability initiatives, driving continuous improvement in supply chain sustainability practices.

1 of 3 PMs from the Amazon's WW Sustainability organization, selected to support the development and launch Amazon's sustainability hub, the first venture of its kind for this global organization, impacting 2.8 million selling partners. Efforts include:- Developed the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for the vetting and on-boarding ofservice providers to the first sustainability services category publicly available for Amazon.- Led the operationalization of a broader ingress routes strategy for the Sustainability Hub, gettingplacement in critical external sites with an average traffic of 6 million unique viewers quarterly.- Post-launch, became responsible for developing the proposal for the extension of the Sustainability Solutions Hub in terms of program and geographic expansion in alignment with Amazon's most recognized 1P programs, aiming to reach an incremental +1M users. - Post-launch, led the Service Provider Network (SPN) Sustainability program expansion implementation, strategizing for additional service categories in alignment with the previous pipeline. SPN is currently available for 20 Amazon marketplaces. In 2021, 112.2K sellers (+87 % YoY) worldwide used SPN servicesoffered by 1,052 service providers (+42.5% YoY), of which 20.8 K unique sellers (+104% YoY) belonged to marketplaces.
