Developed the plan, strategic partnerships, collaborative initiatives and resources required to achieve BGCC regional goals and expand Clubs' province-wide reach and impact.Led the successful development and implementation of public policy, government relations and advocacy plans to achieve critical goals for Ontario's 23 local community Clubs and the 100,000 vulnerable children, youth and families they serve.Provided direct support to Ontario's 23 local Club Executive Directors (EDs), their Board Chairs and other Club staff and volunteers to help them not only meet but exceed the BGCC Operating Standards, and strive for operational excellence.Provided leadership to the Central Region Team and worked with BGCC and local Club staff to help Provincial Youth Council (PYC) youth develop their youth leadership and change-maker capacities and skills.Worked with the Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport and other partners to develop and launch the Ontario After School Program, the first such program of its kind across Canada -- bringing more than $5 million per year to Ontario Clubs and empowering them to serve thousands of additional vulnerable young people and families across Ontario.Successfully advocated for a mixed system of Authorized Recreation (AR) and licensed child care programs, for recognition in legislation of Boys and Girls Clubs as an approved AR provider, and for AR providers to be able to serve 4- and 5-year-old children -- benefitting thousands of the most vulnerable children and families.Worked with Ontario Clubs and the Provincial Youth Council to successfully design, fund and implement innovative youth programs such as "SHIFT: The New Youth Entrepreneur", and "Youth ABC's: Ability to Bring Change", the first such programs of their kind for Boys and Girls Clubs -- positively impacting 10,000 youth to develop their change-maker capacities, and strengthening Clubs' youth engagement practices.
