• Managed unique bilingual (English and Spanish) 16-week comprehensive Life Skills Program for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, which promotes empowerment and self-sufficiency via participatory learning in a culturally sensitive environment.• Designed and delivered more than 500 Life Skills Training workshops for multi-cultural groups of Gender-based violence (GBV) survivors, resulting in over 600 individuals gaining valuable independent living skills and a stronger sense of self-confidence.• Wrote the Wise Woman’s Guide, an action-oriented skill-building workbook that offers survivors of domestic/sexual violence a resource for gaining a sense of personal control in their lives. Topics addressed include Personal Vision, Goal-setting, Organizational Skills, and Coping with Crisis as well as self-care and nurturing reminders and exercises.• Co-authored 28-hour women’s empowerment curriculum, which serves to educate at-risk community groups.• Designed and led participatory volunteer training sessions on “Diversity, Power and Privilege”, resulting in over 300 individuals feeling better equipped to provide culturally-competent support services to GBV survivors.• Co-created and implemented 9-hour instructor-led training for survivors of domestic violence seeking to provide trauma-informed Peer Support services to families currently in crisis.• Guided and supported survivors in crafting their stories of healing and resilience.• Collaborated in design and implementation of a cutting edge project involving indirect dialogue between survivors and offenders of domestic violence.• Engaged men in the prevention of domestic violence, by co-facilitating Indirect Dialogue on Domestic Violence (IDDV) sessions with participants of Batterers Intervention Programs. • Facilitated discussion circles with community groups on social justice issues, to raise consciousness about the larger societal context in which Gender-based violence is perpetuated.
