Working in collaboration with the Human Resources Business Partners, facilitates the talent acquisition process in accordance with regulatory and SCH standards; schedules interviews, conducts or facilitates background checks through vendors, produces offer letters and new hire packets, playing an important role in the effective on-boarding of new hires and transferring staff. Supports and produces reports related to the vacancy approval and talent acquisition processes. Contributes to the new hire orientation process, assisting in the facilitation and by presenting benefit or other HR program content. In support of the HRBP’s, facilitates leave of absence documentation and communication with staff in accordance with regulatory and SCH standards.

Provides administrative support for the Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer and Benefit Manager. Maintains schedule for Vice President, schedules and prepares materials for assigned committee meetings, maintains administrative files, benefit coordination and special projects as assigned. Technical expertise with Adobe Acrobat Writer, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Microsoft Access knowledge and experience highly desirable.

Worked on various projects from Staff Development to Benefit and Wellness, assisted in the recruitment process, and learned about the essential functions of the Human Resources Department, state and federal labor and employment laws and the Hospital’s policies.
