Buying or selling a home is a very personal and exciting adventure. I’m incredibly fortunate, getting to participate in that journey every day. As a Real Estate Agent, for 40 years, I enjoy working closely with every client to help them have the best experience and the most success possible, whether they’re buying or selling or both. In my first life, I was a registered nurse in the neurology intensive care unit at the Montreal General Hospital. When I moved back to Toronto in 1981, I decided to try my hand at my dream job, so I embarked on my real estate career that spring. In 1987, I earned my Broker’s license and became the Training Manager for 9 Real Estate offices, at a boutique, downtown real estate company. Over the next seven years, I hired more than 200 agents; created and managed the training program for all 9 offices; and directly supervised 35 new and senior agents. As much as I enjoyed management, I found I missed being in the heart of the action, so in 1994, I returned to sales, focusing on all of Toronto’s growing downtown communities from the Beach to the Kingsway.
