Better World Books is an online bookseller, providing solutions and services for organizations with unwanted books. My job is to create partnerships between the organizations and BWB. This is a simple mission and with very complex operations. Software, metric and data driven, all departments access and use software and data reports to view and manage all aspects and workflows of the business line. Currently working with clients and prospects across the US and Canada developing business within several types of organizations. Public and Academic libraries, Bookstores, and Non Profit organizations; obtaining Partnerships, creating fundraising and logistics solutions for their unwanted books. This is consultative sales and cause-related marketing, and involves long term prospecting, meeting and presenting as well as researching systems, qualifying, identifying needs and creating solutions. Making sure the Client is secure with processes and on boarded correctly is my ultimate goal.I create logistics and fundraising solutions, as well as customize programs to fit each unique need. Daily responsibilities include providing client training and support for the online Client Portal. Logistics is a large part of the on boarding process and synthesizing processes of software and logistics systems so the end user can navigate them easily, are strengths of mine.This position is B2B sales, inside and outside. Conference and meetings via call or in person. Funnel management, Salesforce use in shipment metrics, account and contact creation and use as well as reports.
