• Member of a new team at Airbus responsible for scouting for new R&D directions through fast conceptual design studies.• Conducted studies of next-generation green commercial aircraft that included modeling of aircraft performance, identification of market opportunities, and assessment of technology readiness. This study eventually became a major R&D project within Airbus, who recently announced plans to launch a hydrogen-powered aircraft by 2029.• Developed a simulation toolkit to support ongoing development of the Zephyr solar-powered aircraft. This tool enabled the Zephyr team to project how their vehicle performance (e.g., endurance, maximum operational latitude) was expected to evolve over time as individual technologies matured (e.g., batteries, solar cells).

• Developed software for fast, medium-fidelity performance analysis of aircraft propellers based on point cloud model of actual laser-scanned propellers.• Software performed automated fitting of airfoil shapes to a 3D point cloud model of a propeller blade, and output files that could be imported into aerodynamics analysis tools such as STAR-CCM, XROTOR, and qPROP.

• Supported flight test efforts of the Gulfstream G500 by developing and executing test procedures on a ground-based simulator to verify the functionality of integrated avionics in the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck.• Developed a script to translate data from flight test aircraft to ground-based simulators, allowing system issues to be readily replicated on the ground following a flight test.• Developed a training course titled "Aircraft Systems 101", which was taught to ~100 company employees and focused on basics of aircraft avionics and flight controls.

• Supported the development of the Pro Line Fusion integrated flight deck for Embraer's KC-390 aircraft by developing and executing test procedures to verify functionality of specific avionics systems (Attitude and Heading Reference System, Air Data Computers, and Flight Director).• Performed verification of system requirements in a ground-based simulator of the aircraft's flight deck.
