I have been employed in the service industry as a Hair Stylist for twelve years. During this time I have been presented with many challenges and have learned many skills required to work within a law firm. Being in the service industry has taught me various office duties such as filing, customer service and answering telephones. It has also taught me how to do multiple jobs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, communication skills, organization abilities, how to be a team player, how deadlines are imperative, and coping skills that would make me a great candidate for the position available. I enjoy a challenge and always work hard to attain my goals, and am a very enthusiastic individual whom is willing to learn new things. I have a typing speed of 50wpm, and am also knowledgeable in PC law, Microsoft Office 2010, and Excel 2010, Conveyancer, Divorce Mate, Fast Company, and Teraview. I am an excellent researcher and can navigate effectively through CANLII, and Quicklaw.I have completed both my internship at Miller Caron McLeod & Priestley and the Law Clerk program at triOS College with distinction.Currently I am taking a Medical Terminology course through St. John Ambulance as I am going to be beginnig a rewarding career as a Records Clerk at Grand River Hospital.
