Working as a legal intern for a private hedge fund in the City of London, an FCA- regulated fund focused on macro investing and above benchmark returns. Review of large volume of documents, emails and other materials produced in discovery to identify key information, relevant facts and summarising arguments. Conducting legal research to initiate arguments surrrounding ongoing civil litigation; analysis of case law and statute to predict and rebut arguments from the opposition. Assisting in drafting legal documents, contracts and other court filings.

Studied for and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL); awarded a Commendation by the Dean of the University. Proud to be awarded the University Award for Pro Bono work. I was elected as Class Representative by my cohort at the University and was also a member of the Staff-Student Liaison Committee. I was a member of the Negotiations Club, as well as a member of the Law and Finance Club.Studied for and completed the new Solicitors' Qualifying Exam Level 1. I was one of the first cohorts to ever sit the exam and passed successfully.

Led the Investor Relations and Client Communications for £5bn Flagship Fund; led the Monthly and Quarterly Reporting processes for a multitude of institutional and private clients; generated macro data to create valuation books and present this information clearly and concisely to clients.First port of call for the Ruffer Absolute Return Fund; liaising with institutional and retail investors

Worked on complete overhaul of private equity portfolio; employed valuation metrics to value companies that traversed the gamut of continents and industries; provided justification for methods to value companies that had few similar comparables in the region / industry.

Worked on improving performance on multi asset funds through a top-down asset allocation approach combined with fund selection to improve alpha using macro models, market intelligence, valuation and technical analysis.Worked on potential acquisition of a £320m portfolio of multi-manager assets from a competitor in the industry.
