Engage School Improvement TurnAround initiatives to improve school performance grade. Serve as UVA school now for two years.

I worked as high school guidance counselor and focused on financial aid training for graduates. Daily duties included supporting students in problem solving and coping skills. As substance abuse counselor I worked with district schools on transition plans and re-entry to school support; plus provided suicide prevention training to staff, students and support personnel. Additional duties included professional development and networking with community and tribal agents.

Curriculum development an alignment of assessment. Infusing principles of partnership with staff to promote leadership skills. Major school improvement initiatives.

I worked in Northwest office to serve as direct support to tribes and school districts in the implementation of the NM Indian Education Act. I designed grants, awarded, monitored and collaborated with Navajo Nation, Pueblos and Apaches tribes plus the Urban Native communities in Albuquerque. We planned and conducted Government to Government forums. I served as Interim Indian Secretary and extended duties to alignment of budget, grants, state reports and tribal collaboration to include State departments that work or fund programs with tribal students

Worked as school and residential counselor. Helped with transition to new location and provided professional development for residential personnel. At Crownpoint developed and taught alternative education program with successful results.

Provided Substance Abuse Counseling. Professional development for educators and administrators. Taught elementary and middle school grades.
