Administration/Enrollment of all Employee Benefits in a Union, Non-Union environment.• Tracking and transferring all employees to various job postings.• Orientation of all new employees.• Maintaining and overseeing employee’s pension plan along with weekly and monthly pension adjustments.• Maintaining all employee HR and benefit files.• Calculate merit increases for non union staff, process and monitor performance reviews• Monitor, co-ordinate and administer the personal, maternity, parental and family compassionate leave of absence.• Process member life events (termination of employment, retirement, death, divorce, transfer, etc.) Including benefit calculations, preparation of member packages and payment authorizations.• Duties included sourcing, screening and interviewing applicants to evaluate work history, skills, education and training• Responsible for reference checking and salary requirements, accountable for exit interviews• Maintaining the internal employee job transfers, ensuring departments are within theirallotted core staffing number• Ensured that all recruitment activity related to unionized positions is executed within the parameters of the Collective Agreement.

• Daily calculations of Time Cards for approximately 250 employees and enteringlabour hours into database.• Preparing weekly Payroll on computerized system.• Issuing required cheques on a weekly basis to employees, Government and other parties.• Year end processing of T4’s and all Government Remittances.• Account reconciliation of all Payroll Accounts.• Self-administration of all Employee Benefits.• Upkeep and maintain all employee files and HR Database.• Entering and completing all WSIB, STD and LTD claims.• Preparing all Labour costing analysis with productive/non productive hours.• Up keeping all employees vacation and absenteeism database.• Assisting Management with all Employment Standards Acts and compliances.
