My responsibilities in my role as a Compliance Specialist was to be knowledgeable about the current child care licensing regulations throughout the United States, consult with construction and real estate departments regarding questions about new schools or current schools, met with new owners to complete their initial licensing application, on-site when needed during licensing inspections, contact state licensing offices when needed, answer questions from existing schools regarding child care licensing regulations, create documents or systems to organize state child care licensing regulations and when they were last reviewed or updated.My responsibilities as a Curriculum Specialist was to assist in rewriting curriculum resources for the franchise, meet with perspective company representatives to review their program/resource/curriculum, participate in workshops and training, conduct training on-site for schools when needed, performed Quality Assurance Reviews when needed, update progress reports and curricular guides used by schools throughout the franchise.
