About Sandy Scott

Career Goal• Currently, my career goals range from being IT level III support to IT NOC manager, IT development\team builder and IT triage\workflow and failure analysis. Technology resources like Servers, SQL, Networks, Applications, monitoring and desktop support are the arms and legs of a company. My goal is to make these IT resources work better together in teams, SLA turnarounds, knowledge exchanges and overall problem solving to provide the greatest to our users/customers. Work smarter, not worker and we improve SLA’s.• I have over 17 years IT experience and I’ve noticed common IT objectives over that time. I started my IT career as a Soldier on the frontlines (enduser support), I’ve continued on to become a Sergeant (NOC II/Server support) and now I feel I have enough experience or vision to become a Lieutenant (Manager). Every company needs a NOC as a resource for centralized IT communication, information/data flow and timely trouble resolution. These should be the foremost goals of the NOC, with an understanding other responsibilities including customer service, systems support and infrastructure support. To fulfill our company needs, the NOC should be highly flexible and have the ability to handle multiple types of technologies (i.e.; operating systems, hardware/software, LAN/WAN functionality and resource interaction/dependences). All this will make the NOC a valuable department to the company. CERTIFICATIONS• Windows Server 2012 Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting (Perfmon/Netmon/Procmon/ProcessExplorer/WinDebugger)• VMware vSphere (Company training program)• Microsoft Enterprise studio 2008 –SQL (Company training program)• CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate – Expired October 2011• A+ Certification – Computer Repair• Windows 2000 Professional Certification• Windows 2000 Server Certification• Windows 2000 Active Directory Certification• Windows 2000 Infrastructure Certification• Hubbell Inside Wiring Certification

Listed skills include Active Directory, Cisco Technologies, Dns, Firewalls, and 6 others.
