More than 270,000 AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serve through over 2,000 organizations at 40,000 locations across the country. Advise CEO on strategy, policy, messaging, communications, and government relations; draft CEO communications; develop strategic alliances with external stakeholders.

Served a year-long full-time detail at the National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service, a temporary federal agency established by Congress charged with reviewing the military selective service process and considering methods to increase participation in military, national, and public service. The bipartisan, 11-member Commission released its final report "Inspired to Serve" and legislative recommendations to Congress, the President and the American people in March 2020. As Director of Government Affairs and External Relations, I oversaw a six-person team that developed and executed the Commission’s government affairs, communications, and public engagement strategy with external audiences including Congress and the Executive Branch and national service, nonprofit, civic, and veteran/military support organization stakeholders.
