What a challenge this was. Doing something completely out of my comfort zone based on a hunch (turned out to be a good one) after Terence Conran turned me down when I asked for a franchise. So I did it myself. Buying, manufacturing and selling high quality, cool home products in the West Country proved to be a great concept. Learned so much about retail.
