Official Voice Of Betty BoopHearst Jun 1991 - PresentNew York, NySandy Fox began her career as Betty Boop in 1981 as the featured vocalist for the 1920’s jazz group “The Coconut Manor Orchestra”. She toured clubs and festivals on the east coast for over eleven years, where she sang the signature songs of “Betty Boop” as well as songs from famous 1920’s pop singers Annette Henshawand Helen Kane. The orchestra opened for legendary jazz greats Cab Calloway, Pete Fountain, Ray Charles and Dizzy Gillespie.In 1991 she was signed by Universal Studios Hollywood and King Features as their official Betty Boop. She traveled the world as the living version of the famed cartoon character. From 1991-1998 Sandy toured throughout Europe and Asia performing as Betty Boop in live marketing events, stage shows, and television and radio appearances.In 1998 Sandy recorded the signature Betty Boop songs for the Universal Studios’ theme park “Islands of Adventure”.
