- Represent Council President Sean Elo-Rivera for San Diego's District 9- Work alongside D9 community representatives to advocate and empower communities, while promoting Council-member Elo-Rivera- Perform office duties such as phone banking, talking to constituents, provide staff support, and more- Be present in communities through canvassing, lit dropping, community events, and tabling

- Collaborate with other interns to create solutions for departments throughout San Diego - Attend weekly presentations with city executives - Create and present solutions to department specific issues - Conduct research on industry specific issues like legislation, department, and community matters

- Organize and delgate work to a team of 10+ staff members- Work alongside 5+ Tet Fest committees to ensure smooth running of the festival- Improve sales and participation of festival attendees- Outreach to SoCal dance teams, influencers, sponsors, small businesses - Safely and successfully plan and execute Tet Fest 2025- Honor Vietnamese culture and heritage in commemoration of The Fall of Saigon's 50th anniversary

- Plan and execute UVSA-wide events like Beach Day, Tet Fest, and more- Serve as Head of Food and Budgeting for Beach Day; and Contest Committee Staff Member- Work alongside 13 other constituent Southern California college's Vietnamese Student Associations with UVSA- Attend weekly meetings on future events/projects, feedback, and briefings- Responsible for planning, hosting, and executing inter-collegiate events that give the opportunity for participants to network- Be the external liaison between SDSU VSA and UVSA

- Promote, preserve, and educate others about the Vietnamese culture through various social and cultural events- Oversee all operations of 10+ board members and overall organization- Delegate assignments and tasks to respective board members- Approve budget and logistics proposals alongside the Treasurer - Represent the organization to internal and external parties- Work alongside the board to maintain relations with UVSA and SDSU APIDA orgs- Collaborate with ICC and other Presidents in the planning and execution of UVSA's Tet Fest- Perform the duties of Head of Operations for SDSU x CSUSM's 5th annual Vietnamese Culture Night through logistical planning, event organizing, and event preparation

- Promote, preserve, and educate others about the Vietnamese culture through various socials and cultural events- Work with the rest of the board to efficiently run the SDSU Vietnamese Student Association- Assist the general board with the planning and execution of internal events like ACE, Spelling Bee, Socials, Fundraisers, VCN, and HSC- Perform the duties of SDSU VSA's 2nd High School Conference (HSC) as Marketing Head through regional outreach, graphic design, and event management- Perform the duties of SDSU x CSUSM's 4th annual Vietnamese Culture Night as Head of Marketing through event promotion, graphic design, and video production

- Work closely with the 2021-2022 VSA Board to assist in planning of activities, socials, and events- Collaboratively work with 8 other interns to plan events and host a General Body Meeting- Participate in weekly board meetings and update the board and other interns- Gained leadership, social, communication, and teamwork skills through multiple activities and event plannings

- Attend general body meetings, socials, and events hosted by SDSU VSA
