-Payroll Part-• Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for employees• Perform electronic data transfer of time administration system timesheets software investigate discrepancies and make adjustments and corrections as required.• Enter, maintain, verify, and update employee Payroll data such as direct deposit information, deductions, and personal information.• Validates wage, overtime, taxable/Non-taxable reimbursement, and allowances payments.• Reimbursement review and Entry and expense breakdown and GST breakdown• Resolving employee requests regarding Payroll (Such as Requests, Questions, Dayforce)• Analyzing payroll reports weekly and conducting bank reconciliation.• Processing EHT & WCB payments and remittances quarterly and at year-end• Respond to inquiries related to the preparation and processing of payroll policies.• Prepare, track and process applications.• Compile and update employee records(hard and soft copies).• Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, scheduling interviews, and performing reference checks.• Responsible for the SRED payroll portion• Process employee ROEs• Assists in year-end payroll processes such as T4s, summaries and other duties as required.-HR Part--Manage LinkedIn page updates (milestones, events, food shows)-Conducting exit interviews.-Preparing and conducting interviews with Service Canada for LMIA & PNP applications.-Managing business trip logistics.-Creating Materials for the Company's Monthly newsletters-Monthly check for confidential reporting box-Assisting the departments with the performance review-Yearly Event Schedule, follow up-Follow-up on mileage management and other tasks for company vehicles-ERP system management in HR-Patent Management--Maintain detailed records of patent statuses, deadlines, and correspondence with patent offices.-Assist in developing patent strategies to align with the company's business objectives and competitive landscape.
