Hack+ creates innovative programs to help students start their own startups, nonprofits, and events. Using technology, we reinvented many traditional nonprofit processes to create a scalable new model for student-run initiatives.We've created a scalable online platform to help students launch and scale their businesses while leaving a positive impact on society. In the 2018-19 school year, our programs reached over 60,000 students. With support from companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and Amazon, we're actively growing our team and expanding programs like Hack+Events and Hack+Nonprofits.

The Annenberg Inclusion Initiative is the world's leading think tank studying diversity and inclusion in entertainment, harnessing original research to develop targeted solutions tackling inequality in Hollywood. We work closely with Time's Up, Sundance, and other forward-thinking organizations to create solutions like the Inclusion Rider and the 4% Challenge.I bring my tech background to the lab, developing websites and digital tools to accelerate the research performed by dozens of researchers in the lab.

As srnd.org's Global Growth Director, I expanded our diverse student community of 25K+ students and grew teams in 40+ cities nationwide.

For over two years, I served as the Northern California Regional Manager for the nonprofit organization StudentRND, an organization that makes students fall in love with coding nationwide through its programs like CodeDay and CodeX.- Grew CodeDay Bay Area event from <80 to over 500 attendees (largest of 30+ CodeDays run across the nation)- Managed team of 30 college and high school students- Sourced and closed thousands of dollars in funding

I founded and helped grow a med-tech benefit corporation for almost a year, where we worked with several universities on a number of software projects.- Worked with Stanford University to build mobile apps for early diagnosis and treatment of autism- Built apps to aggregate resources for Veterans with University of Texas SW, VSOs, and the Dept. of Veterans Affairs- Led technological development and building partnerships with Facebook, Box, Amazon, and other companies- Lead technical author for Dallas Heart Study white paper at UTSW, advocating the usage of mobile apps for patient engagement in large-scale medical studies

- Oversaw all events and activities for 500+ students - Raised and managed over $70,000 annually

I worked with the 500+ students in our class to take our class to the next level. As Secretary, I took on and led several projects such as:- SPONSORSHIPS: Worked with companies to secure promotional sponsorships, providing us with thousands in revenue.- TECH: Created a class website, as well as PORTAL, a social network for our class.- APPAREL: Helped run several apparel fundraisers, including Homecoming gear as well as class windbreakers.- HOMECOMING: Assisted with our class's entire sophomore year Homecoming performance, including activities such as dance, martial arts, and a play.

TechyPeople was a "startup" (not really incorporated) that I created as a 10-year-old, in which I regularly wrote blog articles about the latest tech, and developed basic software under the TechyPeople brand. I employed many of my friends for various duties, including running subdivisions that did all kinds of activities such as creating custom greetings cards, converting VHS tapes to digital formats, creating mini flash games, designing logos and flyers, and more. It was a fun way for me to experiment with startups, leadership, and software development at a young age, and the experience was a large part of making me the person that I am today. :)
