Some initiatives implemented by my team and I:- Professional Development: Through frequent networking nights, internship opportunities, personalized recruitment plans, mock interviews, resume reviews, panels, and 1:1 office hours - Introducing students to non traditional science careers: Through talks from accomplished professionals, panels, and newsletters- Wings: Students have the option to join our consulting, data science, or research wing if interested which is a more focused group exploring these fields through curriculums, projects, and mentorship- Mentorship Program: Students can opt to get paired with a professional in their interested field and receive 1:1 mentorship throughout the year- Family Program: Based on their professional interests, all students are divided into families of 5 with 2 board members well versed in that field as mentors to provide personalized support and career building plans. Students compete in Intra-BBH competitions with their family teams for which they earn points.- Buddy System: Each new member at BBH is paired with a 'buddy', typically an upperclassmen who is already a part of the club to help them get more settled in and find their community within BBH.- Crash Course: Every recruitment cycle we have a training quarter for the new cohort with a guided crash course to become well-versed with the basics of business health.With a more structured approach, our team was able to take BBH from a slightly dormant state to one of the top professional clubs at ucla in the span of 2 years!
