Knab Finance is a fintech NBFC based in Bangalore that is focused on short term working capital for the MSME segment. • The mandate was to set up processes and platforms that will enable the MSME segment to access working capital quickly. This covered term loans and invoice based financing. • The role required extensive partnership with the technology team to build robust and sustainable propositions for the customers. • This also involved understanding customer requirements as well as industry practices and working with the cross functional teams to build processes that have controlled risks as well as being customer friendly.

Responsible for the P&L of the Consumer Assets portfolio including secured and unsecured lending as well as credit cards. In addition, to build a strong SME proposition in the Consumer business.• Manage the Consumer Assets Franchise and a team of over 50 resources • Deliver the annual business plan on all product lines • Assist the Risk team in ensuring that impairments do not exceed the budget• Build a strong SME business proposition and build capability in this area• Manage the Risk – Reward of the portfolio to maximize Income• Ensure consistent customer feedback for New Product Development• Initiate and Manage Affinity Programs across the entire Consumer Business• Own and Manage the Merchant Acquiring Business Across the Country• Build a sustainable Bancassurance business

Responsible for the P&L of the Barclaycard portfolio. In addition, building a skilled team and creating robust processes across the cards business from Product/Portfolio/Risk/Operations.• Manage the Cards Franchise and oversee the completion of the purchase of the portfolio from Barclays Bank PLC • Deliver the annual business plan on Issuing and Acquiring • Assist the Risk team in ensuring that impairments do not exceed the budget• Oversee the migration of the technoligy platform from Prime 2 to Vision+• Ensure the seamless migration of Card Operations from the UK to Botswana• Build a robust team of cards resources in Botswana across the Business/Operations and Risk• Manage the portfolio to maximize Income• New Product Development• Initiate and Manage Affinity Programs• Own and Manage the Merchant Acquiring Business Across the Country
