I’ve always had a natural curiosity for machinery. As a child, I loved taking things apart and putting them back together. By the age of 12, I was building components for use in construction and even making a bit of pocket money for my troubles. My passion for machinery continued to develop and I soon obtained a mechanical engineering degree from the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla. Now I am at the Indian institute of technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar doing my masters in Mechanical systems design.Successes achieved during my time in this role include:- I have got the best intern prize in an automobile internship program.- I have done the project on the study of auxetic properties of different honeycomb structures.- Now I am working on wave propagation in metamaterial.When I’m not working on mechanical engineering projects, I’m either spending time with my family or writing poems.
