Seven years in teaching, post retirement.Worked in Delhi Development Authority since 1981 and retired as Commissioner, head of the Planning Wing in may 2017. In DDA, associated with preparation of Master Plans for Delhi 2001, 2021, midterm review and Delhi UBBL 2016. Experience of Planning & implementation of Sub city projects (million population each) like Dwarka, Rohini and Narela in Delhi. During deputation to RITES, associated with DPR for satellite town near Gangtok and planning of Industrial Area at Bawana in Delhi.After retirement sharing practical experience with students of Urban & Housing Planning, Town Planning, Smart Cities, Urban Infrastructure etc. in reputed Institutions in India.- Visiting faculty, School of Planning & Architecture - New Delhi (2017-18)- Visiting Faculty, College of Engineering - Pune (2018-2022)- Adjunct Professor, NICMAR - University Pune (June2019-May 2024) - Professor of Practice NICMAR - University Pune (from July 2024)- Visiting Professor, MIT ADT University Pune (since February 2022)During seven years, I provided guidance on following Studio Assignments to Master of Planning students : * 13 Thesis Projects * Regional Plans (Pune-Nasik High speed railway-Corridor Development * City Development Plans (Bikaner, Coimbatore, Phaltan, Gadag-Betagirt, Nanded and Dhule)
