Key deliverables across the tenure Strategic Planning & Management Setting up and managing project operations with view to achieve business objectives & ensure top line & bottom line profitability. Formulating organisational goals and developing business plans for the achievement of these goals. Appraising the prevalent systems/ processes, identifying loopholes if any and undertaking result-oriented measures for alleviating them and documenting the same. Planning & delivering the items to assembly line at the right time to meet the customers’ delivery schedule.Supply Chain Management Strategic Sourcing Identifying and developing potential vendors locally for achieving cost effective purchases of materials; eliminating bottlenecks & reduction in lead time. Planning, organizing and controlling all requisite activities to perform such as sourcing, techno – commercial evaluation, negotiation, recommendation, ordering, inspection, expediting & tracking, reporting, logistics and delivery, payment processing, etc. Procurement / Materials Management Formulating and implementing the procurement strategy by developing / modifying strategy for purchase and establishing methods to achieve project targets and resource planning. Designing strategies for indigenizing products thus saving cost and revenue for the company. Implementing systems for enhancing operational efficiency. Initiating RFQs to suppliers receiving quotation and negotiating cost and finalizing prize for product development, manufacture and export. Vendor Development Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms, etc. Overseeing follow-up with vendors for timely deliveries, and quality checks & ensuring timely payments.
