- Monitoring servers using Zabbix/Nagios systems and quickly triage critical situations and efficiently decide on a course of action.-Escalate Critical issues to Senior admins when it is necessary.- Responding to the RAID (MegaCLI, Adaptec) alerts and getting the failed & degraded hard disks hot swapped & replaced coordinating with the DC technicians;- Keep our Public forums updated with any ongoing issues which are affecting customers.-Update our internal communication channels with any ongoing issues.- Documenting important issues in detail along with actions taken and reporting them to the systems team as necessary for further review;- Monitoring load and resource usage on servers and taking necessary actions to keep resource usage in check, disabling/suspending resource abusers if required and contacting them;- Monitoring servers for cases of abuse (spam, malicious processes, phishing/fraudulent sites) and contacting customers with compromised accounts or malfunctioning software via tickets so that they can rectify the problems;- Handling Apache Web service(HTTP), MySQL, Bind, FTP, Mail service issues on highest priority in order to keep all services up and running;- Handling server loads and monitoring server closely for any network issues.-Provide adequate training for New system administrators.
