Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre’s journey begins with the supervision of a dynamic lady Ms. Sanju Barick in the year 2012. She started a revolutionary and unorthodox system for those people who have fallen in the vicious trap of drug/alcohol abuse. This treatment is a combination of psychological and pharmacological initiative which aims at the eradication of addiction caused by drugs and alcohol.Our treatment program is being oriented towards individual client process, providing 24×7 face to face counselling, accepting clients who come only of their own volition for a completely confidential, tailor-made treatment facilitated in a comfortable and compassionate ambience. We do not compromise on our client’s identity so that his/her identity remains confidential.The objectives of Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre are as outlined below:• To create awareness and educate people about the ill effects of alcoholism and substance abuse on the individual, the family, the workplace and society at large;• To provide for the whole range of community based services for the identification, motivation, counseling, deaddiction, after care and rehabilitation for Whole Person Recovery (WPR) of addicts to make a person drug free, crime free and gainfully employed;• To alleviate the consequences of drug and alcohol dependence amongst the individuals, the family and society at large;• To facilitate research, training, documentation and collection of relevant information to strengthen the above mentioned objectives; and• To support other activities which are in consonance with the mandate of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India in this field.
