Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre’s journey begins with the supervision of a dynamic lady Ms. Sanju Barick in the year 2012. She started a revolutionary and unorthodox system for those people who have fallen in the vicious trap of drug/alcohol abuse. This treatment is a combination of psychological and pharmacological initiative which aims at the eradication of addiction caused by drugs and alcohol. Today after 9 years of par excellence, Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre’s team has an optimum experience of over 100+ years in the field of facilitating the individuals and their families to walk towards life more freely and independently. Mr. Ankur Giri who has been a catalyst in the recovery of various individuals, Dr. Harish Chandra Giri (B.A.M.S. and Trustee) and Dr. Akhil Dhanda (Psychiatrist) are the mentors in the field of addiction treatment. In the year 2018, Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre got its first Government funding from Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India for running Integrated Rehabilitation for Addicts (IRCA) in District Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. In the year 2019, Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre started working with underprivileged and impoverished children through Community Based Peer Led Intervention Program sponsored by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India in District Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Our treatment program is being oriented towards individual client process, providing 24×7 face to face counselling, accepting clients who come only of their own volition for a completely confidential, tailor-made treatment facilitated in a comfortable and compassionate ambience.
