* Worked with an offshore Engineering team to support protection of a new hypervisor Citrix XenServer in Unitrends products. Designed, developed, led and completely coordinated with various other teams in both (Unitrends and offshore) organizations to make sure there’s a seamless integration with other hypervisors in the product.* Designed, led and developed a solution to integrate a DRaaS orchestrator (ReliableDR) in the main Unitrends core product so that all the management of the same can be done via a single pane of glass, rather than 2 different user interfaces. This would immensely help customers with certifying their Backups and Compliance reporting for Audit purposes.* Developed a slick BCDR solution that helps achieve a near zero Recovery Time Objective (RTO). This involved maintaining a replica virtual machine, that users can simply power on in case of a DR scenario and start using the same in production. An extremely useful technology for Unitrends Cloud, in the case where customers wouldn’t prefer to utilize local storage.* Worked on developing support for a Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV). Designed the complete solution and lead the team for the same.

* Developed a critical part of a solution for the Unitrends Bridge™ technology. This mainly assists customers in retrieving their lost data from the Windows servers with a near zero down time and achieve DRaaS capabilities. Achieved this using various VMware APIs, ESX server technologies, C, Bash and Perl.* Improved a critical part of the Unitrends product by 20X, thus easing customer pain. This mainly involved a thorough study of a complete VMware API set.* Designed and developed a new Feature with a team, for allowing customers to easily select a list of assets in their inventory using Regular Expressions and performing the Backups of the same.* Worked on integrating Unitrends core product with an external DRaaS orchestrator (ReliableDR), which would allow Unitrends customers to certify their Backups, thus easing Compliance reporting. Was an immense helper for Unitrends Cloud as well.

* Resolved bugs that were raised by customers in various parts of the Unitrends mainline Backup product. Coordination with Customer Support was required to do the same and understand the needs of the customers. Exceeded expectations in meeting the goals and tasks assigned.* Developed a new feature to assist in excluding disks for VMware virtual machines before they are backed up. Implemented this using C and Perl.* Developed a new feature to help display VMware inventory information in a more feasible way, so that it is useful to the users of the product. Implementation for this was done using various VMware APIs, C and Perl.
