I am an engineer because I am passionate about developing solutions to make life better. I love to solve problems using practical solutions so that my community can enjoy the benefits. I have recently graduated from Cal Poly Pomona as a Manufacturing Engineer and I am looking forward to a long and fulfilling career. Since I was a kid, I have always been curious about fixing and building things. My dad, an engineer and businessperson, influenced me and encouraged this spark of curiosity on me. I grew up in a home where discussions on the structure and tolerance of metals were part of daily life. So, going to the tool room and observing the lathe and other machines at my dad's business brought me an appreciation of mechanics at an early age. It also fueled my curiosity about how things work which led me to choosing engineering as a career. My goal is to apply my education, skills and deep appreciation for the world around me to gain work experience and create something that will help others. One of my life’s missions is to serve my community. Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to have lived and travelled in various countries to adopt a global mindset in my approach to problem-solving.
