Prime Brokerage settlement: Equity, Fixed Income and stock loan settlementsKey Responsibilities:• Working as a team lead and performing functions like handling escalation and management reporting• Team Management maximizing effectiveness and acting as internal point of contact for query resolution.• Also assisting with reconciliation of Euroclear stock loan depot reconciliation and handling Emerging market settlements• Single point of contact for client queries and KRI reporting.• Fails Management for Stock Loan settlement.• Exceed customer expectations and work towards building a world class operations environment Accomplishments:- Have been instrumental in reducing fails for stock loan settlements by nearly 30% as soon as I joined the team.- No attrition so far in the team. - Have been able to maintain positive work environment in the team.

Have been leading a team of 3 and have been involved in transitioning the process from the Vendor to iGate for a Major Investment Bank. The team deals with Prime Brokerage Reference Data for Investment Bank and is into creating and amending securities in the system using Bloomberg, Six Telekurs. We deal with financial instruments like equities, options, futures and bonds.Key Responsibilities:• Ensure teams meet pre-defined productivity & quality levels are achieved to maximize customer delight.• Team Management maximizing effectiveness and acting as internal point of contact for query resolution.• Understanding clients requirement for setup on various securities on system• Updating various price quotes and corporate action details on application.• Performing the activities in a timely manner and in accordance with the agreed service levels.• Maintaining high levels of accuracy and TATs in all the activities conducted. • Reading and understanding procedure documents and strictly adheres to procedures when handling static data requests. • Exceed customer expectations and work towards building a world class operations environment Accomplishments:1. Have been involved in getting the process from the vendor have been able to do the transition. I am a SPOC for responding to client queries and resolving queries relating to Prime brokerage reference data.

Key Responsibilities:• Working for a leading Hedge fund client with products like equities, futures and CFDs.• Performing Cash Reconciliation between Brokers books and Funds books and pass journal entries to resolve any discrepancies and also following up with Brokers for the same.• Performing Position reconciliation between funds position and the brokers position and following up with broker and the fund for the same.• Performing a three-way position reconciliation between fund admin. Fund and the broker’s books.• Reconciliation of daily Income and expense accruals.• Helped develop EUCs for automating the process.Accomplishments:1.Have automated the process wherein I was able to save 30 mins per person in a team of people and increasing process efficiency.2.Have maintained high accuracy levels of 99%+ consistently.

Key Responsibilities:• Working on integrated processes of reconciliations for Hedge funds.• Solving the position breaks within time limit and assist for valuations of the funds on daily, weekly, bimonthly and monthly basis.• Being the secondary point of contact of position reconciliation of funds and primary point of contact for valuation of funds (NAV).• Liaising with the IT team for the development of system applications.• Working on UAT (User Acceptance Testing) platform to check the various conditions before implementing the system upgrades.• Assisting manager for BRD (Business Requirement Document) plan for system application and implementation.Accomplishments:1. Shifted to futures and options department in the global reconciliation team. Was involved in the migration of the process from London to Mumbai. Work responsibilities are as follows Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for the accurate and timely allocation of Average Price trades• Liaising with the appropriate EI team to resolve any trade break issues prior to AVP' ing trades• Understanding exchange regulations for average price trades• Liaising with the appropriate Client Service Representative in order to resolve any unallocated AVP positions• Understanding risks and controls around unallocated AVP positions and the escalation process• Performing a trade & position reconciliation for top tier clients• Liaising with the appropriate exchange team to resolve breaks as a result of the reconciliation• Providing weekly commentary on MIS• Ad hoc requests are dealt with on a timely basis and in an appropriate manner• Liaising with the counterparts on a regular basis• Building and sustaining, strong working relationships with internal Lines of Business within Operations, Middle Office• Ensuring that all issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner as per Business Standards.Accomplishments:1. Key Responsibilities:• Analyzing OTC trades for Credit Default Swaps and other products like Vanilla, Bespoke.• The process involves reconciliation of confirmation document against client system in order to affirm that both the legal language as well as the economic parameters of the trade coincides for different derivative products. • Data scrubbing involves analyzing derivative trades with their validity and legality, and escalating the breaks by preparing various reports like Quarantine Reports, Valuation Reports and Reconcile Report.• In the event of a mismatch, it also involves getting necessary follow up to have all discrepancies resolved.• It also involves working with a team and preparing efficient personal level and team level metrics.• Sound knowledge about derivatives products and Financial Instruments and ISDA.• Timely completion of clients regular and adhoc request.Learnings:1. Having been new to derivatives was able to grasp the OTC derivatives concepts thoroughly the products are CDS, IRS, CDOs, CMOs.
