Mr. Saqib Ali Khan is an experienced International Development Professional with more than 20 years of experience in Program Development and Management, Governance, Public Policy Development/Reforms/Analysis, and Public Administration Reforms (PRA). He holds a degree in Public Policy and Governance from the University of Sydney and another in International Relations and Development from Quaid I Azam University.Mr. Khan has supervised, coordinated, managed, and initiated 16 policies and governance reforms, including Acts, Policies, and Rules and Regulations for various governments, including Agriculture, Livestock, Industrial, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, Trade, and Investment Policies. He has also overseen the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Strategy, Meat, Dairy, Leather, Tomatoes, Mangoes, and Bananas Strategies for the Government of Sindh. Additionally, he led the process of developing the Foot and Mouth Strategy, Sindh Feed Stuff Compound Act, Market Produce Act, and Slaughterhouses Act.Furthermore, Mr. Khan developed successful partnerships with the Government of Sindh and the Federal Government for governance reforms in Planning and Development, Food, Commerce, Livestock, Agriculture, and Local Government Departments. He conceptualized and facilitated the establishment of the Strategic Management Unit for the Industries and Commerce Department with government funds allocation in the Annual Development Plan. He also led the process of institutionalizing the Policy and Reforms Regulatory Committees at the Provincial Level. Additionally, implemented a 1.5 million Dollar grant program to the Sindh Food Authority, Sindh Institute of Animal Health Sciences, and Karachi University for the upgradation of laboratories.Over the last 15 years, Mr. Khan has been involved in Strategic Planning, Program Design, and Implementing the Programs Nationally and Internationally. He has designed, implemented, and managed over 15 million dollars in projects for USAID, DAI, and UNDP. He also initiated and introduced the first-time-ever Capacity Development of university faculty on Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, and Social Cohesion.Mr. Saqib has worked in different National and International managerial positions for the last 15 years with ITC, UNDP, USAID, FCDO, World Bank, United Nations, CIDA, EU, and Government institutions.
