Successfully designed and implemented a national-level campaign to combat misconceptions around COVID-19 which created a visible impact in reducing the misconceptions. Responsible for liaising with partners for the identification of new ideas, and coordination with relevant government offices. Successfully partnered with 25 civil society organizations in 2019-2020 resulting in 4 Million USD grant developments. Responsible for leading the Programming Team which consists of the Grants Officer, Monitoring Officer, Procurement Officer, and Grants Assistant. Led Development and Empowerment of Women (DEW) as Head of Programs, which is women-owned based in Islamabad and Quetta, Baluchistan. Led designing of baselines, research studies, projects and programs for women empowerment, gender mainstreaming, entrepreneurship, creation of economic conditions, capacity development and Education. Successfully established monitoring mechanisms and systems for organization encompassing Result Based Management and Impact Assessment. Successfully developed partnerships with Federal and Provincial Social Welfare and Women Development Departments for different donor funded projects. Led and successfully developed five year strategic plan for DEW incorporating SDGs as main framework. Designed training programs for the local government appointed and elected officials across five districts of Baluchistan. Designed advocacy campaign for Identification of lobbyist and campaigners among mainstream political parties that influence that can influence policies and legislative reforms for women empowerment and development. Successfully developed partnerships with TKF and Concern Worldwide for different projects. Conducted Research studies on working women issues specifically related to cultural constraints and barriers which hinder their active participation in society. Wrote papers on Policy Analysis, Governance Issues and Reforms in Southern Hemisphere, Millennium Development Goals, Sustainable Development Goals, Globalization, Education Reforms and Policies, Health and WASH sectors in developing countries, Climate Change, Poverty, Disaster, Civil-Military Relations, Policy Reforms, Local Governments, Public Financial Management and Institutional Capacity Building in Developing Countries. Participated in International conferences organized at Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne-presented research papers related to governance and policy reforms. Sindh

Designed and implemented Urban WASH Project worth 3 million dollars for 500,000 beneficiaries. Developed SOPs for hiring the Implementation Partners and led the process of selecting the Implementing Partner for the project. Successfully developed partnership between WaterAid, UN Habitat, UNICEF, and USAID resulting in the consortium that took responsibility for improving municipal services in Northern Sindh Province. Managed a team of 35 professionals which included project coordinators, monitoring and evaluation officers, administration staff, and social organizers. Developed performance measurement frameworks for Rural Development, Local Government, Public Health planning, and Finance departments for effective implementation of the project. Designed Job Descriptions and Led the Hiring Process of Consultants for specialized activities and tasks. Represented project at Districts, Regional, Provincial, and National level forums. Coordinated with donors and partners regularly to ensure that project results were achieved as per donor requirements. Successfully conceptualized, designed, and established a coordination forum for the consortium partner organizations. Led the Development process of Modules for Community Engagement and Civic Action which were further implemented by the partner organizations. Represented the Consortium in the Task Force for the formulation of Water and Sanitation Policy at the Provincial Level. Successfully designed and implemented financial performance frameworks for transparency. Moreover, developed monitoring and evaluation frameworks for daily reports, weekly reports, field reports, and monthly reports. Project performance resulted in securing phase II for the project. Developed sustainability road map for the project before leaving for Australia.

Peshawar

Successfully led Education Program worth 5 million dollars. Managed 20 Program and 45 IPs staff which included District Program Managers, Assistant District Program Managers, Monitoring and Reporting Officers, finance and Administration officers. Successfully developed partnership with Provincial Government and Australian Aid for program extension to more districts across the province. Developed criteria for hiring the implementing Partners and led the process of hiring of IPs in five target districts i.e. Kohat, Haripur, Mardan, Swabi and Peshawar.Initiated the process of provincial education policy formulation. Developed TORs for the committee and facilitated the consultation process for the formulation of draft policy. Series of the drafts presented to secretary education which was submitted to provincial assembly for approval. Facilitated provincial government in the formulation of quality education standard for schools. Quality education standards were approved and implemented through notification of Secretary education. Led the process of Negotiation and Partnership with Provincial Institute of teachers Education (PITE) which resulted in capacity development training of all education managers and teachers in selected districts. The partnership led to the capacity development of more than 3000 education department officials. Organised exchange visits of Senior Government Officials including Secretary Education, Deputy Secretary Education, Provincial and District Education Managers. Designed School development frameworks, the project provided funding to the selected schools which resulted in the construction of schools and additional rooms for the students. Ensured through monitoring frameworks and project activities that gender mainstreaming is integrated into each program activity. Led the process of formulation of anti-sexual harassment committee at the organization level. Successfully drafted and got the approval of the policy.

Peshawar

Successfully led 4 million dollars Water and Sanitation Governance Program in four districts of KPK i.e. Abbottabad, Manshera, Chitral and Nowshera. Managed 15 project staff and 35 implementing partner staff. Introduced first time community engagement mechanisms such as water committees and women water committees for the PHED schemes. Developed manuals for Behavior change communications. Successfully initiated the partnership with the World Bank-WSP for capacity development of government institutions, partner organizations and community organizations, Led the process along other committee members of hiring consultants and Implementing partners. Introduced governance tools and mechanisms such as participatory budgeting, community forums and complaint centre for effective water services for the beneficiaries. Conceptualised, designed and implemented digitalization of PHED record and provided MIS for the PHED at provincial and districts level. Established synergies with relevant stakeholders through formation of coordination forum at provincial level and District Support Groups at district level for enhance coordination and effective delivery of services. Facilitated the process of policy dialogue on formulation water and sanitation policy at provincial level. Moreover, facilitated the formation of task committee for provincial policy and actively participated in policy dialogue at provincial level. Organized exchange visits of committee members, stakeholders and secretary PHED to Punjab and Philippines.

Abbottabad

Successfully led multimillion dollars program of governance, education, health, local government and infrastructure development as Regional Program Manager. Supervised 15 project and 30 Implementing Partner staff. Developed SOPs and frameworks for infrastructure program which consisted of construction of government schools, health facilities, water supply schemes, roads and community centres. Designed and implemented training programs for the local government officials: counsellors, Nazims, tehsils Nazims, district Nazims, planning officers and finance officers Initiated the process of activation of monitoring committees at all three tiers of local government, developed guidelines and implemented program for capacity development of the monitoring committees. Conceptualised and established the forums at region and district level of all relevant stakeholders and institutionalized monthly meetings of the forums. Social Accountability and transparency tools were introduced with partnership of the World Bank in five districts of the region. Negotiated partnership and drafted modalities with Pakistan Academy for Rural Development (PARD). Facilitated the process of designing training and implementation for the local government officials. Regular field visits conducted to the target districts on weekly basis for ensuring smooth operations of the program at the regional level.

Islamabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Battagram, Haripur, Jehlum And Mardan

Consultant for JICA on greater water supply Abbottabad. Designed Management Information System, organizational structure, designed and implemented trainings for the PHED, TMA and WASA staff. Master Trainer on Local Governments and CCBs. Conducted training for the local government officials and civil society organizations under the RWSSP Program. Proposal development for local civil society organization. Conducted score of training for NGOs on project cycle management and organizational capacity building.

Muzaffarabad, Ajk And Manshera, Kpk, Pakistan

Led education sector strengthening and revitalizing programs in Muzaffarabad and Manshera Regions. Worked with the team of more than 80 professionals of Implementing Partners and project staff. Managed activities of NRSP, SRSP and SUNGI organisation in two regions apart from regular project staff. Developed SOPs for IP partnership, negotiated and effectively partnered local organization. Led the process of designing and conducting baselines, developing monitoring and reporting formats such as financial and progress reports, frameworks for performance of staff and education department officials and designed school development plans which was later adopted by other regions of project. Conducted trainings for the staff and communities on Parent Techer Councils roles and school development plans. Facilitated district governments of Muzaffarabad and Manshera in developing Management Information System for the education department. All records were digitalized, which led to replication of MIS in other districts of AJK and KPK. Conducted regular visits to the field and represented RISE project at Embassy of U.S.A and INGOs forum meetings. Initiated the process of sustainability roadmaps for the PTCs which was further replicated to the other working area of the USAID in Pakistan.

Abbottabad

Successfully implemented project activities in the areas of governance, local government capacity development, social accountability, education, health, WASH, livelihood, infrastructure and gender mainstreaming. Facilitated in formation of District Support Group under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner to oversee project activities. Led the social mobilization campaign for engagement of vulnerable groups in the participatory process by formation village development organizations, citizen community boards and local civil society organization and linked them to local government institutions and non-governmental organizations. Facilitated provincial level one-year research conducted by PARD and CIDA for improved communication and engagement of communities with the service providers. Documented the research study and shared with concerned stakeholders. In 2004 initiated the process of registration of Citizen Community Boards (CCBs) with Social welfare office. Designed, implemented and delivered training on Project Cycle Management for CCBs. Successfully registered hundreds of CCBs and approved projects from the district government. After 2005 Earthquake led the program for relief and rehabilitation in the affected areas. Facilitated formation of district coordination forum represented by district government and NGOs working in the district for relief and rehabilitation activities. Regularly conducted meetings with INGOs, Army and other departments. Facilitated District government in the establishment of MIS for the affected people at Hevellian camp. Receive best employee of the year in 2005 from the Country Director also received letter of acknowledgement from district government in 2006 for facilitating district government in registration and development of the proposal for the CCBs.
