During her 20-year career at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, she developed business and marketing strategies to drive year-round demand in the highly competitive lawn & garden sector. In addition to her marketing leadership experience stewarding the iconic Miracle-Gro and Scotts brands, Sara has the unique distinction of serving as the Business Operator of the Gardens strategic business unit, which contributed over $2 Billion in annual sales. Leading a large, cross-functional team in a highly matrixed organization, Sara owned full accountability of the Gardens P&L, oversaw all media and marketing efforts, expanded new products by $50 million annually, and led product pricing, brand strategy, and identified new business opportunities (including mergers and acquisitions).Sara has a passion for corporate responsibility and sustainability, serving as the company lead for ESG (environmental, social and governance) initiatives across all of Scotts Miracle-Gro.
