I'm currently a Graduate Student at the Colorado School of Mines, working towards a PM in GIS & Geoinformatics, Geospatial Information Technology. I currently work as an intern for HR Green in their Fiber and Broadband Department. I have knowledge in mineral characterization, mine structures, skills with topics such as salt dynamics, fluid flow, reservoirs, resource assessment, hazard/risk assessment, watershed monitoring, mine tailings/drainages, karst mapping, stratigraphic identification, fossil identification, and underground mapping in the field. I've worked under Wendy Bohrson, the Head of Department for the Geology and Geological Engineering department at the Colorado School of Mines, researching magmatic melting and crystalization of magma within magma chambers using the MCS(Magma Chamber Simulator) and MELTS. I also worked with the school in the Arthur Lakes Library Mining History Archive. From this, I have plenty of knowledge working with Excel and can handle both heavy and delicate materials. Additionally, I have worked extensively with ArcGIS and its programs, Petrel, and Google Earth Pro, and I have taken classes to hone those skills. I am also knowledgeable in Matlab and Python coding, specifically the use of IPython and the data science it can process. I aspire to work with GIS and Geoinformatics, or optical mineralogy, as well as the handling of geology-related documents in the future.Previous member of the VPA TLC and oSTEM.
