I like that social work analyzes you from every aspect, all of the factors that affect you taking a holistic approach. One experience that led me into the mental health field was when I was working for College for Kids and Teens, I help a little girl look past her perfectionism in her artwork so she could have fun with her art instead of worrying about her artwork being perfect. When I work in the M State fitness, I began to see the link between mental health and physical health in real time. I enjoyed talking with the clients at the gym when they need some to talk to, seeing it affected their mood positively and checking with them to see how their is going and hearing their stories.
