Behavioral Health Consultant
CurrentAs of June 2023, I began in our Integrated Care / Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services as a Behavioral Health Consultant for Northern Larimer County. I work dually with Colorado Opioid Synergy of Larimer and Weld (CO-SLAW), also known as the Addiction Response Team (ART) in a care coordinator role. I provide direct clinical support to clients experiencing substance use disorders (SUD). I engage clients into MAT services and assist in maintaining their care. I utilize DACODS, CCARs, ASAM, Columbia Risk Assessment, PSQ-9, etc when assessing clients. Our MAT team provides suboxone, vivitrol, subutex, and other medications used to alleviate cravings and encourage decreased use amongst our clients. Our multidisciplinary team stands firm in a harm reduction approach. In this role, I will continue pursuing my Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS, previously CAC ll).
