My role included consulting on all listed building consent applications, conservation area consent applications and full applications affecting the setting of listed buildings or character and appearance of conservation areas. Skills included thorough assessment of design, significance and impact of proposals. Other roles included research, production and implantation of conservation area appraisals; providing technical, best practice advice to home owners and promoting active and sustainable conservation throughout the borough.

Based at Buckingham Palace but with working throughout the occupied London palaces my role included ; site based work involving making onsite maintenance decisions; carrying out condition surveys and compiling tenders; project managing; researching areas of the building for the Royal Household archives and smaller assisting role on two large scale conservation projects.
