I am currently working in the full time post of Estimating Administrator at the Watkin Jones Group dealing with routine phone enquiries, monitoring and scheduling diary commitments, following up outstanding information internally and externally, assisting in preparation of tender, maintaining the filing system, date entry, sending out enquiries to subcontractors, obtaining and pursuing information for site projects copying and distributing drawings and external correspondence.

In March 2009 began work in the Morrison’s store in Denbigh, where I initially worked part time on check out duties. This is an area that holds considerable responsibility, requiring direct interaction with customers and the handling of a large amount of cash throughout the shift. I remained in this role until 2011 when I transferred to the store café. This new role required similar skills of trustworthiness and being a good communicator but now added the requirement to work as part of a small team where your performance is reliant upon others and not simply what you do yourself. I discovered that I much prefer working as part of a team.

Prior to Morrisons I worked at the Brookhouse Mill in Denbigh initially as a waitress and thereafter assumed responsibility for a number of additional tasks including training others thereby demonstrating an acceptance of responsibility on my part and confidence and trust on theirs.
