From a young age I had a passion for Law and knew I always wanted to be a Lawyer. I studied my Law degree at Teesside University and got a job in a local firm specialising in Residential Conveyancing. I was unsure as to which route to take to qualify so I went back to University to study my masters in the meantime. I graduated with an LLM in October 2019. In between my degree and masters I started working at BHP Law which is where I currently work. I started as an administration assistant in Residential Conveyancing and then moved to a secretarial role in the Commercial and Agricultural Property department and progressed to become a Trainee Legal Executive. I quickly came to realise Property Law is one of the areas I would like to specialise as well as Wills, Trust and Probate. I decided to take the CILEx route and I completed the Graduate fast track diploma in March 2021 and became a Chartered Legal Executive in April 2023. My goal now is to convert this over to become a Solicitor by either completing the LPC or SQE.
