Working with the Small Business Team, I was responsible for configuring their Salesforce (CRM) interface:• Liaising with a variety of colleagues from the Marketing and Sales departments to capture their requirements.• Ensure the user interface was intuitive and easy to use.• Testing and migration of data.

• Providing system support to the Telesales and Telemarketing teams on their lead management system.• Creating user training documentation and delivering 1-2-1 training sessions.

• Providing CRM system support to the Small SME Sales Team.• Exporting data from the system into Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes.• Ensuring all customer details in system were current.

• Managing the day-to-day activities of planners and advisors to ensure all customer cases progressed as expected. Services included investments, pensions, estate planning, later life care, as well as advice on mortgages and assistance with Will-writing.• Delegation of tasks to the appropriate person based on area of expertise, familiarity with client and current workload.• Sterling Financial Management held approximately eight events annually to attract new clients or maintain existing ones. I booked the venues, negotiated the terms of the contracts, arranged speakers and catering, as well as tracking invitations and attendance.

In this role, I oversaw the team responsible for the export of recycled wastepaper to the Far East.• Assisting in the booking process with the shipping lines and making sure we were using the line with the most competitive rate.• Ensuring the shipping line rate spreadsheets reflected current information.• Generating internal credit check reports on any new business before accepting the order. • Sending purchase orders to suppliers and checking pricing of all loads booked. • Checking invoices against export documentation upon order completion. • Making sure monthly orders were completed and invoiced as soon as we had received the final bill of lading.

Dealt with the administration of exporting recycled wastepaper:• Determining the appropriate number of shipping containers to book, depending on port proximity and available output from recycling depots across multiple paper grades.• Tracking collections from the recycling depots and determining root cause for any late pickups. • Gathering container information and shipping details and sending all relevant customs clearance information to the shipping line.• Inputting the container data into our in-house system to raise customer invoices.• Matching up the supplier invoices to container details received and processing them for payment.

I worked within the import department, importing different grades of paper for sale within the UK market.• Processing orders, creating customer invoices, and arranging and tracking deliveries.• Producing inventory reconciliation and performance reports for monthly supplier review.• Submitting HM Customs and Excise declarations.
