Reporting to the Group Chief Compliance and Conduct Officer of NAB, this role was created to provide Risk oversight of the NAB retained MLC Wealth Advice business and associated liabilities, including complex wealth remediation programs. • Managing second line Risk team responsible for oversight of the design and implementation of large scale remediation programs, in excess of $2bn in compensation, and subject to regulatory and independent expert scrutiny in response to the outcomes of the Hayne Royal Commission. • Supporting the Group Executive, Customer and Corporate Services and the Executive General Manager, Wealth Advice Remediation with advice, review and challenge in areas of regulatory, financial and operational risk.

Reporting to the Group Chief Risk Officer, MLC, this role supported the Group Executive, Advice by providing second line Risk oversight, advice, review and challenge to the Advice business division.• Fostered a culture of transparency and accountability, acted as a trusted adviser to Boards, Executives and Committees, and application of advanced risk management skills to identify, explain and manage key risks. • Led multidisciplinary teams with authenticity, achieving top quartile engagement survey results. • Oversighted and contributed to the design and implementation large scale remediation programs.• Provided strong leadership through periods of cultural uplift (during and post the Hayne Royal Commission) and significant organisational disruption with the sale of the MLC business.

Reporting to the Group General Counsel, this role:• Provided legal advice to HSBC’s retail banking, human resources and corporate services functions (including corporate real estate, procurement, IT and operations functions). • Conducted employee investigations.• Delivered gender equality strategy as a member of the HSBC gender diversity employee resource group.

• Provided legal advice, drafted contracts, and negotiated transactions with financial advisers. • Led a project to draft and roll-out new template agreements to all NAB Advice aligned financial advisers.

Reporting to the Oceania General Counsel:• Provided legal advice, drafted contracts and negotiated large scale transactions for both client engagements and EY’s corporate services functions (including procurement, IT and other operations functions). • Provided employment law advice to the EY partnership and internal HR function about a range of partner/employee relations issues (including conducting investigations and providing advice on termination, discrimination, harassment, workplace health and safety, NES standards, entitlements, employer obligations etc).
