National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is a Non-profit organisation, providing funding for life saving breast cancer research in Australia. We receive no government funding and rely on individuals and organisations for support.As an NBCF ambassador, my role is to share my personal story and experience with breast cancer, helping to raise awareness about the impact this disease is having in Australia, the importance of organisations like NBCF and the difference that corporate, group and individual sponsorship makes to people like me.Engagements generally involve public speaking (10-200 people), media interviews (face to face or phone) and TV.I thoroughly enjoy supporting NBCF in any way I can. It has been a beautiful way to ‘fill my cup’.
