I am currently continuing my education at the University of Michigan, working towards a dual M.S./M.Eng degrees in Energy Systems Engineering and Sustainable Systems. My academic passions include the use of innovative strategies and technologies to accelerate a just transition to clean energy in the U.S. and beyond. My main professional goal is to become a policy analyst or engineer at a federal agency like the U.S. State Department, the Department of Energy, or the Environmental Protection Agency. I graduated with my B.S. in chemical engineering and a minor in political science from the University of Idaho in May 2022. I conducted research at the University of Idaho for 3 years, working on several different projects that are included below. During my time at the University of Idaho, I was also involved in the Vandal Clean Energy Club (VCEC), my university's sections of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).I believe in the importance of advocating for diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) in the field of engineering and in energy solutions. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, hiking, and being in the great outdoors that my home state, Idaho, offers.
