Originally from Austin, Texas I now attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville! I am currently a junior, pursuing a double major in finance and marketing with a concentration in entrepreneurship. I am also a member of the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program, a multidisciplinary program made up of business and engineering students. Heath IBEP has allowed me to blend my STEM and business interests, improve my interdisciplinary communication, and refine my technical problem-solving skills. It has become a place where I am consistently learning from an incredible mix of hardworking peers.Growth is my guiding value in life and I am constantly working to become the best version of myself, both professionally and personally. I actively seek out areas I can improve upon, feedback from others, new learning opportunities, and diverse perspectives. I have found diverse collaboration to be one of the most valuable things in life and seek out opportunities to learn from those who have had different life experiences.During my college education, I am searching for as many opportunities as I can to gain experience. I recently finished an internship at Techstars Industries of The Future Accelerator which allowed me to connect with the entrepreneurial ecosystem here in Knoxville. Working alongside the 10 CEOs, listening to their stories and what they have learned has further inspired my goal of starting my own company one day. With that as the end goal of my career, I hope to first gain experience in the areas of business development, sales operations, or venture capital— particularly in the technology industry.
