Sara currently serves as the Managing Director of Prevention & Accountability for Pi Kappa Phi National Headquarters. As the Managing Director of the department, Sara is invested in creating and progressing strategic goals that align with the mission of the organization. Sara's ability to navigate challenging dialogue, manage crisis response and creatively problem solve has lead to success in this role and in excelling the work of the fraternity. Prior to her work at Pi Kappa Phi, Sara was the Associate Director of Health & Wellness for Lambda Chi Alpha Office of Administration. Sara managed the incident intake, investigation, outcome and adjudication for 170+ Lambda Chi Alpha Chapters internationally. Sara's approach to organization misconduct is one rooted in prevention, education and collaboration. She worked to re-structure the adjudication process to align with strategic goals and better support student growth. In addition to managing organization misconduct, Sara also led a team of four professionals and created risk prevention education. Sara spent time at Indiana University where she earned her Masters in Higher Education & Student Affairs. Sara served as a Graduate Advisor for the Student Involvement & Leadership Center at the Indiana University Memorial Union. Sara supported the Student Union Board and assisted in the planning, marketing, execution and evaluation of 150+ Program Board events. Sara diversified her experience in student affairs by also serving as a Graduate Advisor for Sorority & Fraternity Life and as a Graduate Hearing Officer for Student Conduct. Sara earned recognition for her work in 2020 when she earned the Division of Student Affairs Graduate Student of the Year.Sara graduated from Oregon State University with her BS in Human Development & Family Sciences and Exercise & Sports Science. Sara's involvement in extracurriculars helped pave the way for her next steps into Higher Education.
